Agreement to Terms

By engaging NotaryFocus's professional notarial services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our notarial services. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and NotaryFocus.

Service Description

NotaryFocus provides professional notarial services including document authentication, apostille certification, certified translations, and related legal documentation services. Our services are provided in accordance with Singapore law and international notarial standards. We reserve the right to refuse service if documents are incomplete, fraudulent, or if legal requirements are not met.

Terms of Service Usage

Our notarial services are provided on a professional basis. You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

- Present fraudulent or altered documents for notarization
- Misrepresent your identity or authority to act
- Use our services to violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Interfere with or disrupt our business operations
- Attempt to circumvent our verification procedures

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

- Providing valid identification and supporting documentation
- Ensuring all documents presented are complete and accurate
- Understanding the legal implications of notarized documents
- Paying all fees and charges as agreed
- Complying with all applicable laws and regulations

Service Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason including but not limited to breach of these Terms, suspected fraudulent activity, or failure to comply with legal requirements. Upon termination, any outstanding fees remain payable.

Refund Policy

NotaryFocus maintains a fair and transparent refund policy for our professional services:

Eligibility for Refunds:
- Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of service completion
- Services must not have been delivered or used by the client
- Documents must not have been notarized or certified
- No third-party processing must have occurred

Refund Process:
- Submit written refund request with service details
- Provide original receipt and relevant documentation
- Allow 10-14 business days for processing and review
- Refunds processed via original payment method

Non-Refundable Services:
- Completed notarizations and certifications
- Services that have been delivered to clients
- Apostille services submitted to authorities
- Custom translation work that has been completed

Service Limitations

NotaryFocus services are subject to the following limitations:

- Services provided within Singapore legal framework only
- International recognition subject to receiving country laws
- Processing times may vary based on document complexity
- Emergency services subject to availability and additional fees

Intellectual Property

All content, processes, and methodologies used by NotaryFocus are protected by intellectual property laws. The notarial seals, certificates, and authentication processes are proprietary to NotaryFocus and protected under Singapore law.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall NotaryFocus be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from the use of our services, except as required by applicable law.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through mediation and, if necessary, arbitration in Singapore under Singapore law. The prevailing party shall be entitled to reasonable attorney fees and costs.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Material changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the modified Terms.
